British poker player Will Kassouf became the most-talked about person in the poker world this year thanks to his antics on the WSOP TV broadcast and this week he got redemption by way of a big win at the last-ever EPT High Roller event.
Outlasting a field of 407, Kassouf made it heads-up against Patrick Serda in the €10,300 buy-in tournament in Prague and ultimately agreed to a deal whereby Serda would take €719k while Kassouf pocketed €532,500 and the official EPT High Rolller title.
Kassouf’s verbose table presence has earned him scores of both fans and haters but most agree poker will benefit from more outspoken characters like him.
